About this product

Brand: Poly-U-Mac

White Air-Comb core panel measuring 1/2 inch thick by 4 feet wide by 8 feet long.

White Air-Comb core panels in 4 x 8 ft sheets

This family contains the Poly-U-Mac Air-Comb white core panel series in a consistent four-foot by eight-foot sheet size. The choices on this page differ in thickness, making it easier to compare panels while keeping the product series and sheet dimensions the same.

Start with the core material specified for your project, then choose the thickness. A core panel is only one part of a composite assembly; the facing materials, bonding system, supports and intended loads also affect the finished part.

Choosing between 1/2, 5/8 and 3/4 inch panels

The listed Air-Comb options are 1/2 inch, 5/8 inch and 3/4 inch thick. Check the required finished thickness and available space in the assembly before selecting a sheet. The four-foot by eight-foot dimensions describe the panel footprint, not a finished component or a custom-cut piece.

Use your cutting layout to plan how many sheets you need, including allowances for trimming and offcuts. Do not substitute a thickness solely because it is currently available; confirm the change against the project specification.

Confirm the core series and plan pickup

Air-Comb, Divinycell H140 and Coosa are separate core products, not thickness options within the same material. If you are replacing an existing core, identify the specified product before comparing alternatives.

For an Air-Comb order in Puerto Rico, have the sheet count and thickness ready when contacting FPR. Check the pickup restriction beside the selected option and plan transport for full four-foot by eight-foot panels. FPR can help identify the listed product; project-specific engineering and laminate requirements should come from the designer or manufacturer.
