Epox-It 80 is a two-part clear coating epoxy listed for bar tops, table tops, countertops, encapsulation and resin-art projects. The family groups different kit volumes of the same named system, keeping it separate from slow-cast epoxies and other art-resin formulas.

Choose the epoxy around the application first, then decide on the kit size. A coating resin and a deep-pour casting resin can have different processing limits even when both are described as clear.

Choose the kit volume for the planned coating

The available kit options are 32 oz, one gallon and two gallons. These are kit-size labels, not a coverage guarantee. Determine the required quantity from the manufacturer coverage guidance, intended thickness and the area or volume of the project.

Buying a larger kit does not mean the whole kit should be mixed at once. Follow the system guidance for batch size, working conditions and application thickness.

Use the Epox-It 80 instructions, not another epoxy recipe

The source listing specifies a 1:1 mix by volume. Follow the current Epox-It 80 instructions for measuring, mixing, surface preparation and curing; do not transfer a ratio or pour limit from a different resin.
