Mixing & coverage

Measure correctly and plan manageable batches.

  1. Step 1. Use the stated ratio and units

Follow the exact A:B ratio and whether it is by volume or mass. Do not substitute one basis for the other or change hardener to adjust speed. Use only the approved pigment and loading; epoxy and polyaspartic colorants are not interchangeable.

Follow the product ratio and measurement basis. No universal ratio is shown.
  2. Step 2. Calculate each coat separately

Mixed gallons needed = floor area in square feet / the product coverage in square feet per mixed gallon. Example only: 1,000 sq ft at 200 sq ft/gal needs 5 mixed gallons before allowance. Use total mixed kit yield, not Part A alone.

Spread and finishA large, recognizable paint roller spreads a blue coating across part of a flat floor. A clear boundary marks the wet edge; no extra tools are shown.
    • Coated area
    • Wet edge
Maintain a wet edge and check the specified build.
  3. Step 3. Fit the batch to the crew

Count measuring, mixing, carrying, spreading and finishing inside the actual working time. Warm material can shorten that window. Use a permitted smaller batch or better coordination, not less hardener, unauthorized thinner or shorter mixing.

  4. Step 4. Keep the different clocks separate

Pot life, finishing time, recoat window and service cure are different. Use the minimum cure condition and maximum overcoat interval for the actual coating pair. If the window is missed, follow the specified preparation.

Use the actual product release requirements, not one shared countdown.
