Metallic epoxy floors

Build a uniform background, create the movement and apply the protective finish.

  1. Step 1. Approve a sample

Choose a main color, optional accent, background and final sheen. Make a sample with the actual binder, pigments and topcoat under the intended lighting. A reference photo cannot guarantee identical veins.

Background, pigment orientation and final sheen change the effect. Pattern shown is illustrative.
  2. Step 2. Prepare and seal the concrete

Accept moisture, remove contamination, repair defects and create the specified profile. Keep movement joints functional. Prime and correct persistent porosity; a metallic layer will not hide pinholes or uneven substrate preparation.

Remove contamination, create the required profile and remove dust.
  3. Step 3. Create a uniform background

Use a pigmented primer as the background only when it provides the required bond and uniform color. Otherwise, add a separate approved color base. Reach its specified overcoat condition before decoration.

Follow the approved layer sequence. Thicknesses are schematic.
  4. Step 4. Prepare consistent batches

Measure the approved pigment loading on its stated basis and disperse without clumps. Follow the exact resin-to-hardener ratio. Stage manageable batches and a placement route; the working clock begins when reactive components meet.

Follow the product ratio and measurement basis. No universal ratio is shown.
  5. Step 5. Place the color and movement

Spread the main color at the specified build, then introduce approved accents while workable. Make deliberate passes and stop before the film thickens. Do not add improvised solvents, alcohol or silicone, and never torch the floor.

  6. Step 6. Inspect and protect the design

Check for soft spots, grit and pinholes before the compatible clear wear coat. Repairs may change the pattern. Approve the final sheen and traction. A clearcoat may still transmit UV; sunlit floors need a complete system supported for that exposure.

Clearcoat stability and UV shielding are different properties. Arrows are schematic.
  7. Step 7. Allow the required service cure

Protect the floor until its separate walking, vehicle, water and chemical requirements are met. Keep the product records and reference sample. Maintain the wearing layer before traffic reaches the decorative body.

Use the actual product release requirements, not one shared countdown.
