Two fiberglass constructions stitched together
Combo mat in this family joins chopped strand mat to woven roving. It combines a random-strand layer with an interwoven fiberglass reinforcement, rather than the biaxial cloth used in the other combo families.
The reviewed roll construction is 1.5 oz per square foot mat with 24 oz per square yard woven roving. Those weights use different area units and describe the layers, not the total package weight. Check the selected option specification when matching a laminate schedule.
Compare roll widths, yards and packaged material
Choose from the listed roll widths, the 50-inch cut-yard option or a packaged 36 by 50 inch piece. A narrower roll may suit a different cutting layout than a wide sheet, but the format should follow the required part dimensions and fiber orientation.
The roll options are sold by weight, while cut yards are sold by length. Use the unit and minimum beside the exact option to determine the order quantity; do not treat a roll weight as a fabric areal weight.
